Domain names have to showcase exactly what the site’s content is. The domain name must already be attractive and straightforward so you’ll get more clicks from it.
You better think of a good domain name if you want to create a website that is likeable by the public. For this, you need to check the availability of the domain first and make sure no one else has used the same domain name. Don’t ride on another person’s site popularity by creating a domain name that is similar to their site’s name. This may cause confusion on the visitors (which may be something you intend to happen) and/or may cause the owner of that site to file a case against you (which I think is a situation you should run away from).
If you already found or thought of a good domain name for your website, make sure you register it under a reliable domain name provider. Also, make sure that provider does not rip you off by asking you to pay more than what a domain name should be priced. If you live in Italy then a .it extension is just appropriate. These are useful because it can help you find more visitors just by browsing through the different sites pertaining to the extensions. For example, if a person in Italy wants to search through sites “only” based in Italy, then if your site has a “.it” extension then you’d be included on the list of search result. This would make you find your target market or target populace a lot easier.
